The last storm we had was on my birthday of last year that did some crazy damage. In our family we called it "Adam's Storm." Earlier that day (Aug. 24) I received a gift card to panera bread from a good friend. On the card he wrote "The angel of the Lord encamps those who fear Him..." You have to understand that this was given to me that morning. The storm didn't come until 5ish. The cool thing about that scripture is that it is true. Literally, three homes down from us lost their roof; a boat was in a tree; and our neighbors fence was across the street. Our home...nothing. Just some trees down in our front yard. Thank you God!
This year...today...seemed like a picnic.
Definitely not as crazy as the last "Storm 07"! But none the less, still a storm.
