What We Want Most.
Psalm 27. Read it now. Read it tonight. It is literally the anthem of my heart this year. I think it is what our community needs, our state needs, our nation needs (the need is that our hearts would not fear...though our stuff is taken from us, though our hours are cut at work, though the economic crisis continues - even then will I be confident).
One thing Father...One thing I cry...guys, we must press in...join me in this pursuit of making "Faith" a reality, "considering it pure joy" a reality, "peace that passes all understanding" a reality...ONE THING Father I ask, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.
What we want most is simply this, before our debt is paid for, before my job is secure, we...want...our hearts (inner man, inner woman) to be fearless. To be secure. To be confident.
I don't know if this made sense...it's my prayer.
